Political pundits revealed a fast game that the new Senate President, Bukola Saraki played on his party, APC to emerge as the number 3 man in the country.

It was revealed to papermacheonline that Senator Bukola Saraki boycotted a meeting the APC Senators had with the leaders of the party when the election that made him the Senate-President was ongoing.

The meeting was said to have been called by the party to inform members of the APC’s position on its choice candidates.

The election was presided over by the Clerk of the National Assembly without the legal proclamation of the Senate by President Buhari.

The APC Senators who were present at the meeting were stunned when they returned and discovered that the Senate-President has been elected.

They came just as the results of the Deputy Senate President which had Ike Ikweremadu the winner was been read.
