Globalization required the development of an advanced information and communication infrastructure computers and content provides based on newtorks of telecommunications and broadcasting.
In view of a rapidly changing world of information that now exist, the system must allow for ways and how information can be collected and used right. There is need to develop the congnitive ability of the students.
IMPLICATIONS FOR TEACHER EDUCATORS AND RECOMENDATION.
1. The challenges dictate the need to re-assess the work of schools and re-examine how teachers might best be prepared for their difficult task.
2. Significant development should take place in Nigeria Teacher Education programme, it should now be curriculum of initiative.
3. If globalization will be meaningful teacher preparation must be overhauled and enriched in-service training should be encouraged.
4. Establishment of resource centers for teachers to go and update and enrich their knwoledge. Teachers be made to work more on such materials as printed, audio, video, computer, internet.
