Sinem: I know some of them, which I will interpret for you. Many are yoruba words which I don't know. 1) Bad belly means jealousy. 2) Pocket picker means someone who picks pockets. 3) Bush meat is a rabbit-like type of animal residing mostly in the bush. I think it may be squirrel or grass cutter. 4) Zonalise simply means to make an issue or matter about the different zones or a zone of Nigeria. There are 6 geo-political zones in Nigeria. 5) You meet us well means when you bump into someone when they are about to eat or when they are eating or making merry. It means you came in just at the right time. 6) Ease oneself means to urinate. 7) Kaikai means alcoholic drink. 1 Like |

Sinem: Do you mean kia-kia or kai-kai?. Kia-kia = Quickly or as we'll say quick-quick. Kai-kai = Alcohol (it's a particular brand called ogogoro, though). The rest I believe others have answers for you already. 1 Like |

Problem is most of the words you wrote are not in Pidgin English which could've been easily understood by any Nigerian. But, they're in different native Nigerian languages. Example; agbalagba is Yoruba word for senior or elder. Egu you wrote could be wrong spelling. It could be Ego, which in Igbo language mean MONEY. 2 Likes |
