Am a young graduates of Accounting from one of the state university in Nigeria, I graduated in march 2015, prospective batch B corp member.
In order not to stay idle I decide to join a company for factory work, on the day I was employed, some couple of guys were also employed, after some time we get to know each , Dats wen I knew DAT most of dem have graduated as far back 2011. Two of us employed on dat were posted to the a dept we r to work, we became friends, it is then i knew he was also a graduate of Accounting graduated in 2011. After two months of working there one of the staff approach me and ask if am a graduate, I told him yes, I graduated from accounting, he ask me to bring my CV , I gave it to him, after two days I was call up for interview in tge same coy with the other guy in my dept, we rehearse together for d interview. There I was ask if am employ, how am I going to cope with my service and I told dem I can work my service down here, so dey gave me a task to perform on excel and submit after two days, they gave the other guy same task, I did mine and submit to them on the expiration of the second day, the other guy has submit a day b4 den. Unfortunately the other guy was called that he did not do wat they ask him to and dey gave him another two days to do it, the guy came to me dat he did not know anytin abt excel and want me to help him out.....
I don't know wat to do
If I decide to help him with excel, he may get the job based on his experience and computer knowledge .
If I decide not to help him I may get the job based on my computer knowledge with no experience.
Please I need advice in other to decide wats best to do

The company might be out looking for individuals who can perform tasks together as per team work, if you can, help him, you don't have to get this one and you being better than him in excel is not a guarantee that you would get the job ahead of him. after all you said you became friends
