We warned Tinubu that ‘northern allies’ will betray him — Fani-Kayode

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has stated that former governor of Lagos state and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was warned that ‘northern allies in APC’ will betray him.



“Another is the destruction and demystification of Bola Tinubu and his Yoruba loyalists by his erstwhile northern allies in the APC. Only a fool did not see that one coming and I am rather surprised that Tinubu’s followers are now crying foul and alleging that there is a northern conspiracy. Didnt they know that before? Were they not warned over and over again?,” the spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party 2015 Presidential Campaign Organisation posted on his Facebook account.

Fani postThere are rumours that there are efforts by some forces in the party to demystify the perceived growing influence of Tinubu, who was instrumental in the formation of the APC and also led the campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari

Fani-Kayode also warned that “there are many other grave consequences which the Nigerian people will witness, in a most harrowing and frightful manner, in the next few months and years. May God deliver our people and our nation and may we learn to make the right choices”.

Mr Fani-Kayode, what did you do to ensure Yoruba were not grossly marginalised by Jonathan your boss? Are you not ashamed that you a lawyer, Okupe a medical Doctor and Reuben Abati a brilliant journalist (all of you yorubas ) trained at great expense were only good enough as attack dogs in Jonathan's administration. Were you so high on you know what that you did not see that almost all posts under Jonathan went to South-South and his cousins the South+East. Jonathan also tried to buy the North by giving plum jobs to them thinking they would support his second term. Did the Northerners in PDP support him? Jonathan was so daft to realise until it was late that he had to secure the whole South to prevent Buhari to have 25% in two-thirds of the 36 states and Abuja.
