The only threat to Iran in the Middle east is Usa. Iran will take on Israel, Saudi or turkey any time any day. Turkey on the other hand remains neutral and may not do anything unless been provoked. Iran will not want to face a usa invasion and Usa will not want Russia wahala since Russia has military ties with Iran, so this will leave Iran to successfully guard that humanitarian ship to Yemen as saudi Arabia will just sit and watch because they cant do shit.
Meanwhile the Iranians are still waiting for the appointed time and when that time comes i.e. the proclamation of the emergence of the Mahdi, then the Iranians will be the ones to initiate world chaos.

If it was all about population Israel would have ceased to exist considering the number of Arabs that hates the country. And besides, all Arabs cannot follow one direction. I dont see Syria, Yemen, Kuwait, Egypt supporting Saudi.

As Egypt is among the coalition forces led by Saudi and currently bombing Yemen, I doubt they will join forces with Iran against Saudi should there be war between the two, but Iran can bank on Yemen especially the houtis, Lebenon especially hezbollah and Syria, that's if Syria can afford another war with the one already on ground for them.

But heck I believe Iran can match Saudi if US won't intervene.

Why don't they use the UN to send the humanitarian aid? I think this show of strength by iran will lead to a war if it is not handled properly.



Saudi should just let the aid reach Yemen and just make sure it is humanitarian aid and not weapons.

You make so much sense. US definitely backs Saudi, but if the situation gets messy they may stay back, unless they see there is a strategic advantage in the conflict for their interest and that of Isreal.

They may even encourage the conflict with the mindset that a Iran/Saudi conflict will weaken Iran and give Isreal some advantage over Iran.

The only reason this may seem unappealing to them is that such a conflict will cause a big upheaval in world oil prices and will affect US in the end.

The bolded last paragraph ruined your story. First, Iran is Persia, not Arab. Second, delicate balance of power amidst the gulf nations and "ammenable" regimes are what have guaranteed peace for Israel so far. If the two major gulf powers happen to go to war (that's if that ever happens), it may affect balance of power and things may go awry from there for Israel.

You are absolutely wrong; Iran don't want Isreal to exist, so any war invloving Iran would be of a great relief to Isreal. Infact, Isreal prays that iran should emabrk on war with another nation.
