eremiah Gado, the President of Evangelical Church Winning All, ECWA, has appealed to Nigerians to exercise more patience with President Muhammad Buhari’s continued honeymoon since he took over power on May 29, 2015.

Jeremiah in an interactive session with newsmen at the ECWA Church Headquarters in Jos, expressed optimism that even with Buhari’s sluggish pace, Nigerians should be optimistic and believe in Buhari’s ability to steer the country away from its challenges, especially in the fight against insurgency.

“I think we should not be in a hurry because whatever is worth doing is worth doing well.

“For me, it is too early to blame him because he has not even put his house in order and form his Government.”

Nigerians on Twitter initiated the “BABA GO SLOW” hashtag to express their displeasure with Buhari’s lack of urgency in ameliorating and tackling the numerous challenges confronting Nigeria.

Jeremiah who acknowledged the huge expectations reposed on Buhari, asked Nigerians to pray for their leaders in order for them to deliver on their promises. He also condemned the return of Boko Haram attacks in the north.
