Pls where can I get anti virus for my laptop...my laptop is battling with virus.

IF it is what i'm thinking, you may need to contact an engineer to reset your bios, which involves opening your lappy. Else, it is a hard drive issue.
Did it hit something hard recently?

Please am also in need of your assistance about my laptop it's showing blue screen when I used an hp printer cable with it. And since then it has been getting worse it keeps showing blue screen error and hangs every five minutes. It's Acer Aspire 4738Z Intel Pentium P6200. I tried system recovery but still no change. Don't what else to do. Thanks

well, my dear I want to give u a practical experience, am an Engineer by profession and have handled so many computer problems before, just recently, a friend brought ur kind of system, it's like a tab, runs on windows 8 with same issues as urs, after exhausting all ideas I had and much consultation from fellow experts without any solution, I went online to HP customers service site only to discover that it's a general problem dey are having with such models of tab, I mean it's manufacturer error, so no solution for it now
