What a foolish mother!

Nigerian mothers, African mothers....when will they learn that it doesn't always have to be by shouting and scolding all the time. In as much as i want to point fingers at the nonentities that raped the poor girl, the mother takes all the blame. It's even evident the police and the media outlet reporting the news all want the mother to take the stick, hence time devoted to explaining the daughter's treatment. It is disgraceful how most African parents treat children. They are always looking who to vent their anger and frustration on and kids are an easy channel. I hope the mother will remain sad for the rest of her miserable life for driving the poor girl into this unfortunate incident.

Peer pressure alone is enough to tilt one over and parents should be very sensitive and tactful in handling their teenage children.
