1. Chinese Government Scholarship-Bilateral Program
The Program includes a full or partial scholarship established by MOE in accordance with educational exchange agreements or MOUs between Chinese government and governments of other countries, institutions, universities or international organizations. In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in politics, economy, culture, education and trade between China and other countries, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities.

A designated council is entrusted by the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China, to be responsible for the enrollment and administration of Chinese Government Scholarship programs. 279 designated Chinese universities offer a wide variety of academic programs in Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Law, Economics, Management, Education, Liberal Arts, Philosophy, History, and Fine Arts for scholarship winners at all levels.

Undergraduate scholarship winners must register for Chinese-taught credit courses. Graduate and non-degree scholarship students can register for either Chinese-taught program or English-taught program if applicable. Candidates holding Pre-admission Letter will be placed in the host university; those without Pre-admission Letter should accept CSC’s placement of university.

Full scholarship covers – tuition waiver; – accommodation; – stipend – medical; – insurance The total amount ranges from RMB59,200 for undergraduates to up to RMB98,800 for doctoral students / senior scholars. Partial scholarship covers one or some of the full scholarship items. The duration of the scholarship, which covers both major study and Chinese language/preparatory study, as specified in the Admission Letter, cannot be extended in general: Undergraduate students: 4-7 academic years – Master’s students: 2-5 academic years – Doctoral students: 3-6 academic years – General scholars: up to 2 academic years – Senior scholars: up to 2 academic years Eligibility The program supports undergraduate students, graduate students, general scholars and senior scholars. However, supporting categories may vary by places of origin based on the educational agreements. Applicants should consult the dispatching authorities in their home country for the categories available. To be eligible, applicants must: – be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health; – be a high school graduate under the age of 25 when applying for undergraduate programs; – be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of35 when applying for master’s programs; – be a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs; – be under the age of 45 and have completed at least two years of undergraduate study when applying for general scholar programs; – be a master’s degree holder or an associate professor (or above) under the age of 50 when applying for senior scholar programs.

Applicants planning to stay in China for more than 6 months must submit a photocopy of the Foreign Physical Examination Form completed in English.

2.Scholarship for foreign students at UIST, Macedonia
The Ministry of Education and Science of The Republic of Macedonia announces this Call for Applications for full undergraduate scholarships at the University of Information Science and Technology “St Paul the Apostle” in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia. The scholarships are available to outstanding students, not older than 22 years old who wish to pursue undergraduate studies in one of the following programmes: (1) Faculty of Communication Networks and Security (CNS); (2) Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE); (3) Faculty of Information Systems, Visualization, Multimedia and Animation (ISVMA); (4) Faculty of Information and Communication Science (ICS) (5) Study Program of Digital Business Informatics (DBI) (6) Faculty of Applied IT, Machine Intelligence and Robotics (AITMIR) and (7) Study Program of E-Government, E-Business and E-Culture.

Other Criteria To complete the application, the candidates are required to provide electronic copies from the following original documents: – Application Form – Official high school diploma or certificate (where applicable); – Official transcripts; – Proof of English proficiency. All students whose first language is not English are required to provide evidence that their spoken and written command of the English language is appropriate for the programme they are applying.

Official document certifying the candidate has no criminal convictions and is not under criminal investigation at the moment of application. Candidates should note that with the exception to some countries, these are two separate documents; -Official general medical report, including medical tests for HIV and Hepatitis C; –

An electronic copy of the Passport which must be valid for the next 4 calendar years; – In addition, as part of the application, the candidates are required to summit contact details from two academic professors/teachers, who will provide letters of recommendation for the candidate. The candidates are advised to notify the professors ahead of time, in order for the references to be submitted within the application deadline. Both letters are confidential.

In case they are sent as hard copy documents, they must be sent in a sealed envelope, signed by the originator of the reference across the seal. All submitted documents must be in English or certified translations in English.

The COE College scholarship is available for non-U.S. citizens. This merit based award ranges from $16,000 to $26,000 per year. A student must meet admission criteria to be eligible. 4.UNIVERSITY OF GHANA SCHOLARSHIP FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS

University of Ghana invites applications for Africa scholarship to 100 Level students from areas of need. The Scholarship covers tuition, books, as well as room and board and will be awarded for four years as long as excellent academic standards of at least a B average of 3.00 CGPA continue to be met and need is demonstrated.
