Amidst the turbulent lingering crisis rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, the Presidency has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari delayed to dive into the National Assembly crisis because he had earlier resolved to work with anybody that emerged as the leader of the 8th assembly.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina who made this disclosure on Saturday on a Channels Television programme “Sunrise” stated that Buhari was thinking that every APC member would key into the party directives and mantra of Change.

“What President Muhammadu Buhari forgot is that he was thinking that the party members will play according to the rules of the party. That is why from the inception he told the world that he ‘belongs to everybody and belongs to nobody.’

“Buhari forgot that politicians have permanent interest. He has waded in to the crisis rocking the party, and we believe that the issue will soon be settled.
