“NNPC (Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation) must die!” were the stern words of the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, on Monday in Abuja. A visibly angry El-Rufai, while speaking on Monday at the 7th Wole Soyinka Centre Media Lecture Series, lambasted the national oil firm, stressing that he was hopeful that the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari would kill the corporation. I believe there are other approach to which corruption can be removed from NNPC. We all know corruption has eaten the institution completely. . . .but from where does thisnvirus come from? How can we destroy it without damaging the system. This is what we should look toward into. There should br a strict law on ground and film judiciary which will tackle any eruption now and in the later future.
