I could remember when she was the DG of NAFDAC, most of our(Nigeria made) intake products(foods, drinks, drugs), and cosmetics were accepted in the whole of West Africa and Africa. Those days, ur sure of taking Paracetamol and it would cure ur headache(what u have dis days are chalks, that's if not something poisonous). You can take ice creams and won't be afraid ur taking expired but future-dated one.
So many things were right in her days then, and suddenly the bad nature of our society came into play. She was wooed with a so to speak big post. The "Rebranding Thing"! And they got her. She's been spoiling their fake products business. NAFDAC closed shops and market trying to save the lives of the masses.
Our politicians eventually got her out of the way. Now we are back to the bad old days of buying chalk as drugs. God help us.
Once again, May her soul rest in purfect peace.
