MANCHESTER UNITED'S US TOUR STARTS
TODAY
United are heading back to the United States for
Tour 2015 to defend the International Champions
Cup...
This Monday afternoon, Louis van Gaal and his
Manchester United squad will embark on Tour
2015, presented by Aon, as the preparations for
the new campaign continue in earnest.
The Reds will jet out to the United States to
begin the defence of the International
Champions Cup which was claimed in impressive
fashion last summer. Van Gaal’s men face four
matches during the stay across the pond, against
Mexican outfit Club America (17 July), MLS side
San Jose Earthquakes (21 July) and European
giants Barcelona (25 July) and Paris Saint-
Germain (29 July).
United fans could see new signings Memphis
Depay and Matteo Darmian in action next Friday
when the Reds play the opening tour match in
Seattle against Club America. Memphis spent
last week training with his new team-mates and
was officially unveiled alongside van Gaal at Old
Trafford on Friday. Darmian's transfer from
Torino was finalised on Saturday and the Italian
defender says he can't wait to get started.

The midfielder, Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian and Bastian Schweinsteiger all made their debuts in a comfortable victory in Seattle in the International Champions Cup Morgan Schneiderlin, Depay, Matteo Darmian and Bastian Schweinsteiger all made their Manchester United debuts in a 1-0 victory over Club America in the International Champion Cup.
Schneiderlin opened the scored the only goal of the game after just five minutes of the first half with a looping header from a Juan Mata cross. The Frenchman, Depay and Darmian were all subbed by Louis van Gaal at the interval, with Schweinsteiger coming on to make his first appearance for the club. Schweinsteiger impressed as United controlled the second half but failed to add to their lead.
