Cultism is any form of organisation whose activities are kept away from the knowledge of others,but such activities are caried out at odd hours of the day and they often clash with the values of everyday life.
.The early cult group was founded in 1953 in university of ibadan by wole soyinka and other elites as at then,it was established with the aim of protecting the interest of students and fight against injustice melted on them by lecturers and even the school authority
However,in our school today society,the reason for esterblishing cult has been thrown to the background.instead of protecting lives,they now endangers it.both members and innocent people.

REASON WHY STUDENTS JOIN CULT
.1.SEARCH FOR SECURITY:many students believes that joining secret cult will give them peeace and power that protect them against others.
.2RESURE FROM FAMILY:some join cultism because of the pressure they receive from their family.and so,look for solace in cult.
3.TO PROTECT THEIR LOVE ONES:some guyz join cult to protect their loved ones or girlfriends.
4.TO BOOST ONES EGO:some be when they join cultism it will make them popular or give them sense of belonging.
EFFECT OF CULTISM
1.It leads to expulsion of members.
2.It endangers life.
3.It disturb the peace of the school.
4.Members are not safe,they are always afraid of being attacked by others.
In conclusion,I urge students to say NO to cultism.it does not offer any thing good.rather,it makes it difficult for one to graduate without fear of cultist.

. In collaboration with the JOINT UNIVERSITIES PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS BOARD (JUPEB), the Niger Delta University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the pre-degree programs for the 2015/16 Session

The program leads to the award of the joint universities preliminary examinations board certificates which enables candidates to gain Direct Entry admissions into 200 level of the degrees offered by the Niger Delta university and other JUPEB affilited universities in Nigeria and Universities abroad. The JUPEB Certificates is equivalent to the advance level GCE or the old higher school certificates (HSC) or IJMB

For admission into the Niger delta university and other jupeb affilate insitutions, each candidate in addition to passing the prescribed JUPEB Examination for issuing the direct entry certificates, must satisfy all admission requirements prescribed by departments and faculties of choice

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates seeking admission into the JUPEB Predegree programs must possess a minimum of 5 credit passess in at least five subjects at olevel including english and maths at not more than two sittings in the GCE. SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB)
