A fatal accident which occurred on Wednesday July 15,2015 has claimed the life of middle aged man in Kogi.

The unfortunate incident happened along Okene Kabba Road In Kogi State.According yo an eyewitness, the fatal accident involved a Lexus with plate # GL 470 and another SUV with # BT863 along the popular Okene/Kabba road. The deceased was on his way to Ogbomoso from Makurdi when he had a head on collision with the other person who was severely injured.

When sympathizers came to the scene of the incident,a business card which bears the name of Asiwaaju Isaac Akinkunmi was found in the pocket of the deceased. For anybody who knows him,his corpse has been taken to a clinic in Kabba.

The rate at which accident is happening across Nigerian states is alarming.Bad roads, reckless driving, drinking and sometimes unexplained circumstances are contributory factors to accident occurrence.

May his soul rest in peace,Amen.

Rest in Peace Asiwaju sad

and RIP to those cute rides embarassed

What's the point of getting such nice rides if their airbags aren't effective enough to give some succour to its occupants in case of accidents like this?

Peeps pay millions for these toys, and all they get is a very weak fibre body, fancy fake leather interior, exotic sounding technological grammar, quick acceleration, but almost 0% safety measures undecided .... That was how RMD was involved in an accident the other day with his brand new Toyota Prado and the bloody vehicle's airbags refused to deploy.... Only God knows how much Toyota Nigeria spent in sweeping that event under the rug undecided

Bad thing is.... When these car manufacturers are advertising these cars, they almost make one think that one can fall off mountain Everest in these vehicles and still be safe, with all their bullshiit terms like ABS, SRS SIDE, PASSENGER, CURTAIN AIRBAGS, XENON LIGHTS, CRUISE CONTROL, AND SIMILAR CRAP undecided

Exactly my thoughts when I saw the pictures. I remember sometime last year when the former vice president's brother had an accident along airport road in his BMW X6. Or Kaduna Governor's son in his Lexus ES 350 car.. Both cars are equipped with the so called Electronic Braking System (EBS) which is claimed to be an improvement over the ABS..

After hearing about all these features, the foolish Black Man (Nigerian) becomes a demon on the road. With speedometers reaching as much as 180Kpm and above forgetting even with all these features, the white man and Chinese man who made these cars don't exceed certain speed limits in their own countries.

RIP to the dead.
