Wike To Deliver 50 Low Cost Flats in August

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has promised to complete 50 low cost flats in Iriebe Estate, Port Harcourt in August 2015.

Wike make this known while inspecting the project last week.

He charged the contractor to use quality materials, noting he is not under pressure to the commission project to mark 100 days in office.

His words: ” I am not under pressure to commission projects to mark 100 days in office. I will continue to do my best to deliver idvidends of democracy to my people everyday.”

The governor expressed satisfaction with the level of work done, but insisted that quality work must be done.

He however directed Commissioner for Works, Mr. Emma Okah to eject illegal occupants of the State Housing Estate at Iriebe.

Governor Wike said: “ The commissioner for Housing is hereby directed to immediately take possession of the housing estate and evict the squatters. It is surprising that all these residents are staying here illegally”.

Factual Times Correspondent reports that Governor Wike inspected the portion of the East West road and different road projects under construction in Port Harcourt City.

Rivers state Commissioner for Works, Mr. Emma Okah told journalists that the project would be ready in the next month.

Well, he may end up 'misinforming' some persons seeing that 3 persons have already clicked like on the post. The 3 persons may now go out and start speaking with authority that a low cost building that has already been commenced(substructure has been done, and they are at blockwork) can't be finished on record time
