I have not been able to open any site on my Opera mini browser since yesterday but other browsers on my phone are working.Pls i am the only one or has anyone else experienced this?

Yes,i use MTN.But i dont think the problem is from them cos i tried using WiFi and it was still d same result.

I tot it was MTN, cos opera works flawlessly on my friends phone with AIRTEL

I am also having the same problem & its reallly frustrating. Had to resort to UC browser but it consumes too much of my batt.
Seems the problem is only perculiar to opera mini & mtn cos i tried airtel & it worked perfectly.

With mtn - yes

Reason - the recent opera webpass which officially activates free browsing was exploited by hackers and to end the menace, Mtn has decided to shut down its opera server until further notice.

By the way, I really like what the hackers did to Mtn. I used that opera free browsing to stream youtube videos endlessly, download large games from playstore, and was watching a live match online before the jam. Shout out to the hackers out there. You guys rock wink

yeah there has been a total shut down from our favorite customer.. but hopeful all will be back again soon sir... so no problem

Exactly, since yesterday opera has been on hibernation. I discovered Apus browser because of this down time and I must say, Apus is like a beast...... Jeez! The speed is breathtaking, I put it on speed mode and it's taking my breath away. Crazy browser!

My opera is working.though sometimes it happens like that, when that happens u can uninstall and install it again.

go to settings and click on advance settings and change ur protocol to HTTP
