. Nigeria started her democracy about 10 years ago and it has only brought sour, nepotism, proverty and political jingosim. After carefully studying the state of the nation, i have come to realize that that A people called NIGERIANS are the major problem of the nation.
Recently, the unpopular and shilly-shally president signed the unpopular budget with relish, even when he indicated that the budget was not workable, yet gave the masses high expectations, when obviously a silver lining can not be seen in this dark situation.  There is a saying that says ' when you are pushed to the wall and can no longer tolerate, you figh back', whereas in Nigeria the reverse is the case, when Nigerians are pushed to the wall they jump over the wall and keep running.
I see no reason why over 140 million Nigerians can be dismantled, intimidated and deceived by less that 10,000 political office holders. Despite these and the proverty level, Nigerians were crowed as the most HAPPY people and they did not see anything wrong with it, rather they acepted it, forgeting the fact that we will produce a generation who will blame and insult us just as many of us have blamed our Ancestors.
I remember vividly how a protest in a Greece brought about the resignation of their leader, reason being the improper management of funds which lead to the ecomonic recession of their country. why can't we do same?
I could stil see her tears, that foolish minisiter that wept seeing the deverstated state of Lagos-Benin express way, promsing Heaven on Earth and nothing was done, still, the transport misistry returned a Wooping N47 billion to the Nation treasury account, what a waste. The Nigerian government budgeted N2 billion for generators, yet we still expect stable power supply. what happened to FOI bill? how about the electoral reform? Why can no body have a say? why are our leaders and law makers unreachable?. Imagine the possibilities, if we could  get access to them either through Phones, e-mails, or their personal Blogs, were we could send our criticism and recomendations, that may make a major impact, but who cares?
Even as DOOM can be intensely felt in all corners of the nation, I can only hope that one day Nigerians can get things right, that one day Nigerians will wake up from their unrealistic Dream, that one day Nigerians will come out and Fight for their right, that one day Nigerians will make their voices heard, that one day Nigerians will get credible leaders, that one day we can reduce corruption to it bearest minimum, that one day Nigeria will get a REVOLUTION.
It Begins with you.
Yes, It's POSSIBLE!

Nice topic although you missed one important point. There is a country called Nigeria but there are no "Nigerians".The real Nigerians are long dead (Herbert Macaulay,Zik,Awo and the rest of them).A lot of people share these views of yours (including me) but who is willing to take up the gauntlet?Like Fela said "Nobody wan die".Even if some are ready to die, the big question is "WHO ARE THEY DYING FOR?".Is it the people who will lose their guts after govt intimidates them?Or the ones that will go behind and collect bribes?Or the ones that will get in there at the end of the struggle and repeat all the harm that has been done over the decades?Who exactly?

The truth is there is no patriotism. We are only "Nigerians" in name but at heart, we are all ethnic groups. This is also why it would be difficult to run a revolution in this country.Who will lead? The Yoruba don't want anything with the Igbo and the Hausa's detest anyone from the south. So who will lead?

You know, it doesn't take much for this country to turn around. It doesn't take much to bring this country to a halt. What matters is the drive pushing those committed to do so.Furthermore, there is no way this can be done without immense loss of life.

Abuja is where the nucleus is and that's where to hit.All it takes it 50,000 demonstrators who are ready to lay down their lives and about 5,000 armed civilians amongst them.Forget all the soldiers and crap. How many can they kill?First thing is to lock down all air ports, second thing is attack all executive, legislative and judiciary institution.Third is get into that "dreaded" Aso Rock and beat the crap out of anyone there.Fourth, bring out the president, his family and cohorts and behead them LIVE on television. The same should be done to all the few thousands that have killed this country. It's called cleansing. Most important of all, there must be suitable candidates ready to take on the helms of affairs and led this country to where it should be.

violence started out problem
It is a lazy man solution that simpler veneers more violence
Nzeogwu tried it
It failed
If you cannot win election you cannot mobile 50000 thousand insurgents
