Chelsea beat Portsmouth 1-0 away in their last league outing, continuing a run of four straight Premier League matches without a loss. They are yet to lose under new Manager Guus. With the return of Ghanian Essien, the blues squad seems to have strengthenedĀ a bit ,With Drogba finding the net more frequently now and Anelka looking like the lost sheep of India The blues are currently on high , after having knocked out Juve in the champions league . They will be without Deco,Joe Cole and Paulo Ferreira. Manchester City have suffered from the blues when travelling to Stamford Bridge having failed to score in five Premier League games since Roman Abramovich took control of Chelsea in 2003/04 and it looks likely that Guus Hiddink's men will extend their misery with another win to nil. They defeated Aston Villa 2-0 at home in their last league outing, their first league win in four matches. In their last five, Man City have won two, drawn one, and lost two, picking up seven points from the 15 available. They scored four and conceded four in these matches, as they find themselves eighth in the league, four points behind seventh placed West Ham and equal on points with ninth placed Wigan. Having won the first leg of their Uefa tie with Danish side Aalborg 2 goals to nothing,Citeh wont give up without a fight Man City have a lenghty injury list, and will be without Bellamy (knee), Petrov (knee), Johnson (groin), and Sturridge (groin), although Benjani Mwaruwari, Micah Richards and Robinho could all be fit for this clash. it is however unlikely that they may win cheksli at the bridge but with former blues player SWP scoring goals off late for citeh, he would most likely net some against his former club |

oh Boy this is a difficult one with GuuS - all victory - there is more chances of Chelsea taking this one,Ā but the last time they met ROBINHO almost made Chelsea regret not buying him. Now M. City are a little bit stronger than before with the current signings. Given vs Cech. |

This is going to be a dicey one but chealse would be happy that Craig Bellamy isnt going to play but they have to contain ireland, wright philips and Robinho. I hope that the officiating would be crystally fair cos Referres could play an important factor in such matches. I think (but sincerely hope not) that chealse would win 2-0 (kalou, lampard) |

Re: Chelsea (1) V Manchester City (0) - Sun 15th March by LloydIy(m): 6:58pm On Mar 13, 2009 |
I just hope M. City would come up with an early goal because If they intend to play a draw, they should be aware that the late goal scorer Didier Drogba is in form. |
