My name is introvert230, original identity concealed. I'm age 19 and a 200l student of a Nigerian university. Am a male born by birth .

I actually am incline to my name as provided above. Its as a cause of my low self esteem which I've tried a little bit to uproot in my life.

The main crux of the text is that I'm actually going through a very hard time which with the way am perceiving things it would persist for a while. I'm a very emotional type of guy, I value friendship more than any other thing. I put love first.

Since my first year in the university I've never been satisfied with my friendship in school. I got into one(we are still together) immediately school resumed.
The relationship has always been one sided, I do the chatting, even the chat is always like am trying to woo a girl, I also do the visiting.

We are both academically balanced. The groove of our friendship only lasted pretty well in our 100l now we've become more like colleagues who put brains together just to succeed.

I really don't know if I should give-up on the best friend stuff with him and retire to being just colleagues. I really am need a a true best friend but all attempts at making him the one is kinda just failing. I don't want to live my life without a best friend who gat my back


Please nairalanders, should I communicate with him about my feelings(no homo) or just give-up and search for a best friend??
