Jos—Residents of Foron District in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State have raised alarm over renewed attacks by Fulani herdsmen. The attacks have reportedly left no fewer than 32 people dead, cattle carted away and houses burnt. On Monday, two attacks at Vat and Zakupang villages left 30 people dead and another attack on Tuesday claimed the lives of two men.
The recent attack took place at Kakpwis village of the District and Ward Head of Kakpwis, Dagwom Ahmadu Hwere, said it occurred at about 11p.m. One Emmanuel Joshua, 32, and Bot Joshua, 30, were killed in their residents and 20 cows belonging to the late Emmanuel carted away.

Breaking Boko Haram Attack: Boko Haram attacks Kayamla, Borno 20km To Maiduguri, Reports reaching JustClassic Blog indicate that members of the insurgent Boko Haram are currently attacking Kayamla village of Borno

Kayamla is about 20km from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, and the attack was ongoing at 2:10 p.m.
An official of the local vigilante called Civilian-JTF in Borno, Muhammed Gava, confirmed the attack to Justclassic Blog

The Management of Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria has denied reports that it shut down its flow stations in Bayelsa State owing to fears of attack by aggrieved militants.
The SPDC’s spokesperson, Mr Joseph Obari, told the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday that the operations of the oil firm were running but declined further details.
“Our operations are continuing and we will not comment on security issues.” he said.
The reports had alleged that the oil firm acted to forestall attacks by militants aggrieved by President Goodluck Jonathan’s loss in the March 28, 2015 presidential poll.

At least 25 people lost their lives while several others sustained injuries in the 'wild' celebration which greeted the victory of the President Elect Gen Muhammadu Buhari in last Saturday's election.

According to reports, 4 of the victims died in Kano, 17 in Abuja, one in Benue while three died in Kontagora, Niger state. Many of the victims in Kano were crushed to death as car owners staged a car racing competition after Buhari's victory was announced. One of the victims, a staff of Etisalat was crushed to death along the Uku end of Zaria road in Kano.
