When going for Bank financing, it is not compulsory for you to have a bank account with the bank you will transact with, but if you do, all the better.
The banks that do car financing for us are: Skye bank, Diamond bank, UBA, Bank PHB, Access bank, Oceanic bank, ETB, First bank, Fidelity bank and ECO bank. The most active ones are Skye bank and ETB.
First you must have an offical approval from your employer for the financing.
Secondly you must bring an evidence of your regular income by means of a bank statement.
Every bank have their various ways of processing car purchase, for example Diamond bank allows you to make an initial deposit of 10% of the total value of the car after which later the payment is spread over a period of 24 to 48 months.
