I was accompanied by two other neighbours to settle a tough dispute between two couples in my compound last night when they won't let us rest.
The dispute started as a result of the refusal of the wife; preventing her husband (who was perceived to be slightly drunk) to serve his "night duty" on her.

The husband boldly narrated to us the whole scenario from top to bottom without any feeling of remorse whatsoever. How on earth would a man in his right senses raise a finger on a woman just because of that? Even for ANY reason atall.

What are the possible ways; working advice for men who make their wife's life miserable this way?

Seconded jare. We're tired of wife-beaters. Let's have some husband verbal abusers like you said. Some of these women will just run their mouth like running tap water and cry blue murder when giving small beatings.
