Buhari kicked against the US suggestion to host the command center in Chad only for him to later concede.

The Multi-National Joint Task Force was created after the elections at which point the US became actively engaged in the war against Boko Haram by supplying ammo and intel.

The US stated a precondition for Chad to host the Multi National Task Force before committing to supply weapons and intel.

Buhari kicked against this initially but will almost immediately rescind his stubborn goat stance.
