I'm certainly no expert but I love cars and I know a little about them. I have heard and read dozens of complains about the murano transmission,but the question is,what kind of transmission fluid do you use? Going straight to the point. As we all know,the murano engine is mated with a CVT which of course uses ONLY CVT transmission fluid. Don't ask me where to get them as there won't be an answer for that,but I'll give u the recommended and alternative fluid

Note: murano uses only NS-2(full synthetic)
1.Nissan continues variable transmission(CVT)fluid.
Manufacturer recommended.


2.Amsoil synthetic CVT fluid.

3.Valvoline CVT Full synthetic.

4.Total fluidmatic CVT.
There are so many out there,but for me ooo,these are the four I trust.
The transmission fluid is to be change every 30 000mile I.e 48 280km.

For the engine oil the recommended is 5W-30 engine oils. Some of them are listed below.
1.Mobil 1.
2.Total quarts INEO MC3.
3.Valvoline premium conventional
4.Castrol EDGE.
For the filters,its simply synthetic oil filters.
