The inspector general of Police, IGP

36,000 policemen and women are
going to be sitting for promotion
examinations between now and
December, 2015. The IGP made this know weekend
during his official visit to the FCT
command where he assured the
officers and men that the welfare of
his personnel was paramount to the
police management. Arase who pointed out to the
command personnel that the
promotion exercise would be
transparent, however, stressed that
no personnel would be allowed to
circumvent the exercise. “The graduate officers promotion
course is going on, we have placed
some condition for that. First and

supposed to be attending promotion

soon,” he said. The police boss who fielded questions
from journalists said that the police

restrict how long an investigation is
going to take. It is an ongoing
process apart from the normal
investigation you talk about the forensic process so its a continuous

called for two additional Area commands to be created in the FCT,
citing the rapid expansion of the

This should be the first acid test for President Buhari's anti-corruption crusade.

Buhari should come and invigilate the exams himself with the assistance of Daura, the DG of DSS if he is serious to check corruption in the system.

I don't trust 95% of the examiners let alone the corrupt Invigilators

what if the practical on 'how to demand and collect bribe' is the only criterion, do you think 90% will fail?

Moreover, this is Nigerian, the invigilators and markers are Nigerians.
