So why do some people go out of their way to instill feelings of inferiority/self-hatred in melanated people ? If we truly are inferior, there's no need to bombard us with that message 24/7.

I think the base of the black man's problem is the mind. A shattered mind under the influence of educational, historical and religious control.

Corruption is just an offshoot of this mess we have in Africa. It is just a child of a weakened mental platform of the African mind. We need salvation.

Spiritual salvation. Not the spirituality of religion but that type you'd find in Late Fela and Marcus Garvey. Nothing we do will save until we work on our minds.

You have a good point there. I think we may be having a problem in seeing something wrong with colour. White or black shouldn't we be intellectually healthy enough to know that no colour signify badness or goodness? This article speaks on some of these inferior attitudes:
