Following a recent announcement by the state governor, Mr Emmanuel Udom, the government is sponsoring the training of 1000 youths of the state in Oracle Software Management. The Ministry of Science and Technology is set to commence documentation and screening from Monday August 3rd- Wednesday August 5th.

Dr. Elizabeth Obot, the honourable commissioner for science and technology said the interested participants who applied should assemble at the State Ministry of Science and Technology at 84 Obio Imo and come with their expected documents.

The screening is scheduled for 3 days. Monday August 3rd for Eket senatorial district youths, Tuesday is for youths from Ikot Ekpene senatorial district and Wednesday is for youths from Uyo senatorial district.

The commissioner further said the importance of this training was part of the Governor's
pledge to empower human capacity development in the state. The actual training of successful candidates will commence 2 weeks after the screening.
