I went to Benin for a friend wedding recently and it rained that day, come see flooding just how many hours rain, all the street from new benin to mission end flood, cars have to park and wait, even the roads they are forming to repair since his first tenure till now before mission end is till like that resulting to bad street roads and muddy flood.

Drainage system is -(minus) not even zero
We have to wait unit the water reduced before we cross the road if not na inside that river we go end...

Let me state for the record that I'm not a fan of Oshiomole or an APC member

To me, on the list of best governors, he isn't anywhere close to been in the top 10.

His first tenure was remarkable owing to the fact that Edo people had not known "development" before he came to power.

The resounding victory he got at the 2012 election was a testament to that.

However his second tenure has been a total disappointment.

Due to the fact that there are no more elections to be won, he just sat back, wore his white bathroom slippers and stretched his legs under the bench.

Rather than develop Edo state, he has been touring the world especially since he got married. Whether he is trying to show off his pretty wife to the world, I'm not sure.

I left that comment earlier because I'm annoyed this post came from a PDP stewalt who out of shame for the underdevelopement that party has brought to Edo state in particular and to Nigeria in general, should not even criticize the governor.

Oshiomole, in 7 years has done what PDP did not do in nine and half years in Edo state.

However this does not justify the present condition of things in the state.

BTW, 16 billion naira loan with just six months to leave office; what project does he want to start and complete in six months or does he need this money to maintain Iara after he leaves office?

Hmmmm....only time would tell.

This poster must be working for the already depleted PDP in Edo State. Oshiomhole remains the best Governor since the creation of Edo state. In the health sector, the comrade Govenor has transformed the Specialist Hospital to become one of the best in Nigeria. He equally refurbished brim up to date, all the general hospitals in the state, to mention, but a few. In edification, Oshiomole upgraded all the primary and secondary schools in edo state, built new ones and modernized existing schools. The secondary and primary school in my community are a case study. He brought sanity into the teaching profession in public schools, which led to the discovery of ghost workers and incompetent persons as teachers. Oshiomhole established the ICT institute in Benin City. He equally established campuses of the state owned tertiary institutions in different locations across the state. I take the Edo state agric school, Agenenode as a case study. So many to mention. In road infrastructure, he did not only embarked on constructing new road and expanding existing ones, he made sure that such roads had good drainage and pedestrian lanes on both sides. He went further to open up transformed hitherto unknown and 'common' villages to become centers of economic activities. A case study is my community and neighboring towns which can now boast of nylon tarred and smooth roads even in such terrible mountanious terrain. No wonder that my community that PDP leadership once castigated a village with no economic value to warrant a road budget of 3billion Naira, is now not only a tourist center, but a sports centre, hosting the now famous 10km int'l race annually, courtsy of the ability and astuteness of the action Governor. There are many projects and achievements of the Governor to be listed, I just want to avoid verbosity which will make this write up boring for discerning readers to comprehend. Meanwhile, I challenge you to a debate or contest in a medium to be suggested by the poster on this issue.

Oshiomole came and built a drainage diverting the water coming from Ugbowo (Uniben area) to Ikpoba river. Since then I stopped swimming.
