Ogoni land, creeks and water sources require extensive cleanup and not the propaganda over structures or whatever.
FG has not moved an inch and until the area is cleaned up, no amount of stories will suffice, including the latest one.

Timelines-
2003: shell withdraws from Ogoniland due to increasing hostility
2003: former President Olusegun Obasanjo set up a Presidential Committee on Ogoni Peace Process, with Rev. Father Matthew Hassan-Kukah, now the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, as chairman.
2006: former president obasanjo asked the United Nations to carry out an environmental assessment of Ogoniland. The assessment was sponsored by the government, Shell and the other oil multinationals, it spanned a period of 14 months.
2011: August 4 - report submitted. The UNEP Report stated that years of Shell’s operations in ogoniland had damaged the environment as well as devastated its ecosystem far more that was previously imagined.
Report called for establishment of Ogoniland Environmental Restoration Authority; Environmental Restoration Fund for Ogoniland; and Integrated Contaminated Soil Management Centre. $1 billion contributed by the oil industry and the Federal Government was to cover the first five years of the clean-up project.
2012: July - former president Goodluck Jonathan established the Hydrocarbon Pollution Restoration Project (HYPREP) to implement the environmental clean-up of Ogoniland and conduct environment assessments in other parts of Nigeria impacted by oil contamination. Mrs. Joy Nwinee Femi-Okunu, an indigene of Ogoni, was appointed its director general.
2014: Feb - National Oil Spill Detection and Restoration Agency, NOSDRA, Claims to have started actions to facilitate cleanup activities.
2014: May - Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shell, Mr. Ben Van Burden, finallya jounced that $1 billion has been set aside in a " verifiable account " pending the set up of structures for fund management
2014: June - MOSOP urged FG to move fast while several Ogoni right groups and environmentalists protested against the establishment of HYPREP because it's not included in the UNEP report.
2015: July - FG under Pres. M. Buhari directs the formation of a board and governing council for HYPREP.

Today many are gloating over nothing, while carcinogenic substances have ravaged Ogoni land.
Where are those that sponsored the protests against the work of HYPREP simply because it in not mentioned as a "structure" in the UNEP report?
What new thing has happened on the ground in Ogoni land since 2003?
Is this an attempt to get the 1 bn USD released by shell even without the agencies recommended by the UNEP report?
