When America,Swiss or u.k govt promise to repatriate £300m looted by corrupt individuals,just be sure the money is way above that sum.They have deducted miscellaneous amounts therein.Even most of abacha looted money they declared were understated. However, they should mention names of the individuals who laundered those money.

People should look in the mirror and at their family members who were and are in government.

So many civil servants stole lots of money.

Managers and especially many perm secs and of course ministers and politicians for the past 40 years stole so much money. Stashed in Nigerian banks, shares and European, Asian and American banks and real estate. I know of several personally.

I believe the money looted out Nigeria is very much more than £400bn.

I really don't know how President Buhari is going to tackle this great problem.

Imagine what £400bn can do to Nigerian economy.

China built the biggest hydro electric power dam that can generate up to 20,000 me of electricity with just abt $22bn.while Nigeria is still struggling below 5kmw.

Let's implement Chinese style judgement on corrupt practices and see how much change we have bn yearning for can be actualized in our life time.

President Buhari is not already to get the money back.
Just give everubody in the country 2 months to put their business in order. After 2 months, All money to and fro would be blocked. No money would come in and no money would go out except through a few clean channel. Most nairalanders would find that their Dad is not that honest.

Bro, some states can't pay salary because they have very stew.pid governor who can think. Are there not states who owe no salaries?

Why must we always refer to some states who owe salaries as if it the the FG that pays state salaries. Doesn't the states have budgets? Didn't they get their monthly allocation from FG.

All these noise about looted finds is total rubbis.h and diversionary. APC should get down to work.

USA, UK, EUROPE and other countries are so much culpable in the corruption problem of Nigeria, there is a yoruba adage which translate thus, 'the person who stole goat from the marketplace is not to be blamed but the person who received the stolen goat'..Those countries telling us about our loots need not worry anymore, we know where to beam our searchlight, when push comes to shove, we know who are true friend of Nigeria.

Actually corruption REDUCED from1960 onwards. The colonial regime siphoned over 90% of annual national earnings. Which of course was why Nigeria was an undeveloped wasteland with not a single university, power plant, or expressway, after 63 years of uninterrupted British rule. So corruption reduced after independence. That is why we have more schools and infrastructure today.
