Buhari's Fight Against Corruption Has Become A Circus! by naijaking1: 9:31am On Aug 12, 2015
Buhari is not serious about fighting corruption, because if he is, he wouldn't be expending his energy making a circus performance out of the whole thing.
https://www.nairaland.com/2519498/security-agencies-watch-list-supreme-court

A real corruption fighter will not tip off suspected judges and their accomplices first, he will catch one or two and use them to make a good example.

https://www.nairaland.com/2518613/trial-those-stole-national-resources
This one simply undercuts Buhari's argument as a democrat. He has already concluded that certain people "stole" So why waste time and money trying them again, simply execute them and retrieve the stolen money without making a big deal out of it.

https://www.nairaland.com/2519769/treasury-looters-prosecuted-few-weeks
Same as above. Buhari has no idea how his ignorant and pejorative comment can influence the life of a whole group of people. A reasonable leader would arrest these suspects, try them, and if convicted, then make comments like the above. So now, which judge would release a suspect already declared guilty by the president of a country even if found innocent Buhar is wrong!

https://www.nairaland.com/2519816/cnn-investigates-why-buhari-dumped
Finally, for those who think Buhari doesn't know what he is doing, he's not fighting corruption, but doing his very best to cover it up with song and dance circus. If you fall for for it, then you too are a victim of a well crafted PR campaign.

You are so on point. Read up on this
This is a huge setback for the ACN members of the Pro-PMB army. Let's look at the facts.
* The APC were refused assistance by the Democrat Executive US government who have started cutting their losses
* The APC government were refused military assistance in terms of trade in arms and ammunition due to the terms of the Leahy act
* The Republican controlled house committee on oversight and reform two weeks later paid the president a visit and promised a look into reviewing the leahy act in relation to Nigeria
* A day after that Mr Ibe was made the GMD of NNPC
* A week later, rumors of a meeting between the president and his predecessor was reported
* Soyinka has started singing a different tune of the President's culpability in the supposed corruption scandals
* The media has been awashed with a unscheduled meeting between the President and Gen Obasanjo
* OBJ has started looking desperate in his frantic recent moves
* The fuel crisis has started to
abate
This rundown of events point towards a sort of compromise being forced down the President's throat. It's apparent that PMB has lost his major foreign supporters and so is looking for new alliances. If the reports of overtures being made are true, then the biggest losers in this new deal will be
* Tinubu
* Oyinlola
* Fashola
* Akande
* OBJ
* ACN faction, members, supporters and home region
* And eventually PMB

Oh yes, Nigerians are watching it intensely, unfortunately their attention is being diverted from the main task at hand.

Good point.
Everybody remember how Sanusi L Sanusi came to sanitize the CBN?
He went on a continuous media war against what he termed corruption in the industry Remember?
Unfortunately, that was also the same time he was dolling out 100s Billion naira of our money to his friends all in the name community projects.
Buhari is reading from the same play book.

When you say the obvious truth, buharians will tag you wailing wailers but will never address the matter raised. That is how to know when one is helplessly brainwashed.

You know how the game is truly played. The campaigners of corruption are actually the most corrupt. But unfortunately for him the global power game did not end up in his favour

Whether Buhari is trying to cover up corruption or not, he is three times better than GEJ

Also remember that the same Sanusi was indicted by the Financial Reporting Council for fraud. Instead of him to face investigation, APC's VP Yemi Osinbajo ran to court to stop his trial/investigation. The record is there

Yea. In my case, I would even say...a million times! PMB's government can never be as bad as GEJ's government.

That was one landmark weakness for GEJ. When Sanusi was stealing money and giving to the opposition, what did he think the opposition would use all that money for?

GEJ was avoiding heating up the polity. His problem is that he is not just a politician. Politics is not for him
