I am an American born of Nigerian immigrants. I currently live in the States.
I have been wondering about why it is that the phenomena of 'monitoring spirits' is a topic almost exclusively discussed by Nigerians.
If one were to search 'Monitoring Spirit' on Google, they would find that most of the results are Nigerian people discussing the topic and offering a solution of 'deliverance' or a repetitive cult-like chanting, referred to as 'prayer'.
This whole 'Monitoring Spirit' idea seems to be partially accomplished by private investigators being hired (by family members, in some cases) to stalk individuals for the purpose of obtaining as much information as possible.
How do you guys feel about the topic of 'Monitoring Spirit'?

Monitoring spirit is a Yoruba traditional believe of old that comes from witchcraft. The belief mantra is 'Aje nle e nile o salo si sokoto, nibo lowa to rija eleye'. People need someone to blame for some reasons and some are truly wicked. Some in our household feels good when evil befall us, not necessarily because they are bad but because evil can be funny especially when the haughty is the victim~ victimism: when you want sympathy after an evil tide and you kept seeking extraodinary answers, a spiritualist can help elevate the culprit from physical realm to spiritual.
