Mr Jerry Nnubia, the Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Anambra State has stated that the current minimum wage being earned by workers should be increased to N50,000 monthly from its present N18,000.

let say the least worker (level 1) goes home very month with the minimum wage of 18,000

dose it then means that a level 8 worker (graduate entry level.... hope its correct o) goes home with 18000×8 every month?
some body told me that a university graduate goes home with 60000 every month.

just can't fathom this minimum wage of a thing. help if u know wellar

Though I work in the poverty alleviation (Civil Service), I still see increase in wage at this point a call for uncontrollable inflation and of course, 'Zimbabwe' in the making.

Currency revaluation may bring succour.

There is a lesson which the govts hv tot: :open rebellion & acts of violence command dia attention more than loyal appeals and civil methods. It is a lesson which it will be wise not to force on Nigerians. Paying 50k won't deplete govt coffer.

Even with 18k some states find it very difficult to pay and u r requesting 50k.better stop deceiving ur self
