Sounds like a nice spec'd car, but pictures would be good.

A point to note though - if your A4's a 2,6, it won't be a '99/'00 model.

The 2,6 / 2,8 V6 12V was from 1995 to July 1997.
From August 1997, the 2,6 V6 12V was dropped, the 2,8 V6 continued, but in 30V guise.

Not sure where your car came from, but worth noting if it's from the United States, it won't be a 2,6, as the 2,6 version was never offered in the US or Canada.

If it's a Euro spec car, it can [/b]be a 2,6, but [b]not on the year you've posted.
