President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 engaged the services of some unruly All Progressive Congress (APC) youths as ‘media team volunteers’ in a move seen as a measure to bridge apparently defective gaps in his government’s communication strategy.

Leading the pack of new media assistants for Buhari is a forty-two-year-old man called Ayobami Oyalowo who tweets with the handle, @Ayourb. He confirmed his appointment on his Twitter handle. Oyalowo is known for his reckless and violent outburst on social media.

Ayourb Shut The Fukc Up

Oyalowo is famous for issuing a death threat to a former US envoy on Twitter over an opinion editorial published in Washington Post on Buhari’s connections to global terrorist group, Islamic State (ISIS). He has been quoted by news media such as Daily Trust as a source for information on Buhari’s decisions in office.

Observers fear that the use of untrained and incompetent professionals as handlers for a job as sensitive as the communication strategy of a sitting Nigerian President may end up making matters worse for a President whose media handlers have wobbled from one gaffe to another since the appointment of two spokespersons.

Barely two weeks since these questionable appointments were announced on Twitter by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, @Ayourb is in the centre of a sex scandal.

A Twitter user, who identifies as a professional hacker, @_NoSaint_ has exposed a private conversation which occured in 2012 between Oyalowo and an unidentified person on Twitter. It reveals @Ayourb expressing his love for anal MouthAction called anilingus or rimming.

Anilingus is a minority sex act classified as sodomy in conservative sex cultures. It is associated with homosexuality, though heterosexuals also engage in the act. Sodomy laws in Nigeria criminalises these sexual behaviours. The two major religions in Nigeria, Christianity and Islam both view sodomy as an abominable act.

Soon after this explosive revelation, Oyalowo shut down his Twitter account “in confusion”. An identified future target of the DM Leaker hacker, blogger Japheth Omojuwa reacted to the revelation on @Ayourb by frantically declaring that @Ayourb was hacked, debunking the ”butt hole sucking” private message.

In reaction, DM Leaker, revealed more details on @Ayourb’s conversations which include promises to facesit the recipient of the message. Facesitting is a sexual practice, also known as queening or kinging, in which one partner sits on or over the other’s face, typically to allow or force oral–genital or oral–anal contact. The message also includes @Ayourb giving the recipient his mobile phone number.

@Ayourb later re-activated his Twitter handle and denied sending the sex message.

As you can imagine, the reaction by Nigerians on Twitter also began to pour in.

I don't know if this is true or not. Cos it's none of my business.

But, you following him on twitter for months doesn't mean anything, it doesn't mean it's fake.

Its DM(Direct Message) so even if you follow him for years, you wouldn't know what he's got in his inbox. Besides, with what I can see there, whatever it is they're talking about happened 2012.
