Ephesians 2 vs 2 - the course of this world are the princes of the powers of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience. That verse truly outlines the fact that there are powers behind all these increasing lawlessness in our nation and in the world at large. We now witness rape on the increase, pedophiles and molesting of minors is on its zenith, homosexuality, adultery, fornication, lies, theft, robberies, bombings and destructions, mass murder and massacres, and many you can ever imagine. The world is now at the height and apex of its wickedness.
This is to be evidently and expediently obvious to you that there is a cosmic force and unseen power behind these increasing lawlessness, even in the primaries and secondary schools, young boys are given over to cultism and violence and thus fulfilling what the bible said in 1 john 5 vs 19 that the whole world lies in wickedness.
Humans were all perfectly made by God in His image. But what happened? Have we all lost our sanity and sanctity? Where is the humane love we had towards our contemporaries? Why should rapist, cultism, homosexuality and bestiality be on the increase? Well this is to show to you that the spirits and powers which are the enemies of God are currently at work on the universe controlling and hypnotising the victims to act wickedly, thats why the crime rate in the world is so alarming.
But there are few that will be saved out of the hand of these strong spirits. Those who have genuinely repented and have all embraced Christ works of atonement on the cross. They are those who have renounced the world and have been turned into a new creature. Yeah those who have obtained Salvation and Sanctification are those who shall be saved from the ever increasing iniquities.
Revelation 3 vs 10 -because thou has kept the word of My patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation which shall come upon all the world, to try and test them that dwell upon the earth.
When you receive salvation, the Lord Jesus will keep you and deliver you from evil and all the fiery temptations of the evil one.
1 john 5 vs 18 -we know that whosoever is born of God does not sin, but he that is begotten of God keeps himself and that the wicked one touches him not and we know we are of God and the whole world lies in wickedness.
1 john 4 vs 4 - ye are of God little children and and have overcome theme because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.
1 john 2 vs 14b - i have written unto you young men because ye are strong and the Word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.
Yeah the Word of God which is the Sword of the Spirit is a powerful weapon that a christian believer uses against the devil. When the word of God abides in the young man of God. It is the Word that he will use to overcome the temptations of the devil. And as for You reading this and you have not yet obtained salvation? Why tarry? Youre no match to the devil cos when your time comes he will take forcefully to his habitation (hell). Come to Christ and receive power over the devil and his principalities.
