The Administrator profile on my PC is not password-protected, yet I'm being asked for username and password to log on to a local host. What do I do?

press enter to logon


once u sign on click on start = run

type in

control userpasswords2

check the the box that says users must enter username and password etc

select the profile you want to use, if it is different fromt he administrator. click on properties

click on the group membership

select OTHER, change it to administrators

press ok

then uncheck users must enter username and password again

click on apply. it will ask you to type in a password dont type in anything if u want to automatically log on to windows

just press ok

and ok again and you are done
