PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB

Ensure and contribute to the overall order intake and necessary action plans in the x company by:

- Identifying any sales potential and turn any growth opportunity into sales.

- Develop and Manage Distributorship agreements/partnerships

- Supporting and advising relevant distributors regarding our product benefits

- Constantly visting distributors to understand their requirements and respond accordingly with our range of products.

OBJECTIVES

Achievement of Sales target   for the company by:

- Mapping out a commercial strategy that will boost the overall Business for x Electric products with especially Distributors, electrical business partners and big players in the electrical product business.

- Understanding the overall structure of the Electrical product business and thereby offering right produtcts  for the right /target market.

- Establishing and maintaining a good Business relationship with the players in the electrical product distribution sector .

- Responding to requests/enquiries in a timely and effective manner

- Preparing and anticipating relevant order intake forecast according to assisgned customers.

- Identifying new customers and maintaining the current customer base.



SPECIFIC ISSUES

- Location:   Onitsha
- Language: English language
Constant domestic travel to other states in the Eastern part of Nigeria  for  business meetings

POSITION OF THE JOB IN THE ORGANIZATION

- Reports to:
Managing Director ,X WEST AFRICA
PROFIL SOUHAITE / PROFILE REQUIREMENT

The right candidate will have the following:
• 8 years minimum relevant experience in  sales of  elctornics or electromechanic products/equipment
• Excellent relationship managemnet and sales execution skills
• Have good communication skills and  be a self starter
• Very good negotiation skills.
• Vast knowledge of the Electrical product business sector
• Be able to work within a team  and  experience of writing reports on a monthly basis
• Good knowledge  of the west African business environment.
• Versatile in Distibution network management
• Be able to use initiative and act independently
• Ability to be able to analyse a sales pontential
• Ability to advise Management on relevant information for decision making
• Excellent organisational skills with a proactive approach to customer service
• A strong Business acumen with experience of monitoring competitor activitiy and developing new and mainting new customers.
Fluent in English and French.
Must be willing to travel 50% of the time.

QUALIFICATION

• An Electrical Engineering Graduate, or First degree in a technical discipline
