AWESOME

Ibeyi - Ibeji (Twins)

Kainde - Kehinde(The youngest twin)

It is the same thing. Even if you spell it IBEJI the Portuguese and Spanish speaker will still call it IBEYEE like YESUS(JESUS) NAVAS, BOJAN (BOYAN) KRICIK, James (Yamis) Rodriguez , San Juan (Yuan)

WE CANNOT IMAGINE THE PROFOUND IMPACT SLAVERY HAVE HAD ON OUR PRESENT GENERATION....

I JUST FOUND OUT THAT ONE OF THE GREAT WRITERS OF MODERN AGE MALCOLM GLADWEL (AUTHOR OF OUTLIER, TIPPING POINT ETC ) HAD HIS GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDMOTHER FROM IGBO TRIBE OF NIGERIA. SAME WOMAN IS THE GREAT GREAT GRANDMOTHER OF COLIN POWEL, THE FORMER US SECRETARY OF STATES.

I once talked about Ibeyi on this forum before, I liked the fact that they didn't forget their Yoruba roots.
Their album IBEYI was the first album I bought on iTunes, even OYA EP. Eleggua is my favorite maybe because I'm a twin #Sacred Jimaguas

Fabulous fable.
Eventually, Ibos will trace their ancestry to leaders in Europe, Asia, Far East Asia, etc to complete their self-mockery.

I have been an ardent follower of Cuban Music since the year Whitney Houston won the Grammy for the album I will always love you. That was when Gonzalo Rubalcaba, a respected jazz pianist known for his work " Mi Gran Pasion" a masterpiece, performed an opener on stage that night. He is Cuba's most decorated Grammy Award winner.

See his works here.

There are little known Cuban artist like Omar Ibrahim Ferrer, Ruben Gonzalez and other members of the Buena Vista Social club.

I am not surprised that they not only look like their papa but took after his passion: music.

Buena Vista Social Club Members.
