hello pals, i will like to know the exchange rate that will be used when booking a flight. Am confused because the airlines states their price in dollar. If the ticket fees are to b payed in the bank, will they use interbank exchange rate or burea d exchange rate? I was planning booking a flight to moscow....thanks |

Mrcdorv: Honestly it is not. GTB charges 225 to the dollar. I was charged that amount for a flight ticket transaction. I even complained to a customer care rep who said it was the official rate and black market was even 215 on that day. I don't know about other banks but GTB's rate is outright robbery. |
