I bought and ate an imported jumbo orange but to my greatest amazement, it contains no single orange fruit in it.

Can somebody help me understand this? Haven't eaten a fruitless orange in my whole life!

"fruitless" or "seedless"?

If that's true then its good news. White people should stop bickering over GM foods and send them all to Africa. Hopefully abundance of GM foods here would cure our food crisis.

Seedless oranges aren't genetically modified. They are produced without any interference with the genes, you only need to understand the science.
