Three KSU Students Arrested For Threatening A Lecturer by hamzakito(m): 1:31pm On Aug 21, 2015
Three students of the Department of
Economics, Kogi State University, Anyigba,
have been arrested and handed over to the
Police, Anyigba Division, for threatening the
life of a lecturer in the Department, Dr.
Ilemona Adofu.
The students are Attah Daniel Danladi
(11EC1071); Solomon Idamarhare (13EC1082),
and Oladele Adinoyi Bello (12EC1046).
A letter addressed to the Divisional Police
Officer (DPO) and signed by the Chief Security
Coordinator (CSC) of the University, Major M.J.
Adama (rtd), said the students had threatened
Dr. Adofu to ensure that they pass ECO 307
examination which is one of the courses he
teaches.
It recalled that a lecturer in the same
Department, Mr. Alehile Kehinde Samuel was
shot on the leg at his residence along Old
Egume Road, on Thursday, 25 June, 2015, and
was rushed to Good Shepherd Hospital, from
where he was transferred to Lokoja for further
medical attention for security reasons.
The letter stressed that after the incident,
many lecturers from the same Department
have received verbal or mobile text messages
in form of threats which were reported to the
police appropriately.
The CSC, in the letter, added that Economics
Department has the highest cases of cult-
related activities among students off-campus,
stressing that any threat from any student in
the Department must, therefore, be handled
seriously.
The Security Unit, it added, is planning general
investigation of staff and students in the
Department of Economics, as intelligence
report showed that there were some staff
collaborators in cult and criminal activities in
the Department.
I, therefore, urge the police to furnish the
University on the outcome of investigation in
respect of the current situation.

They should be well investigated in case they are "decoy".. before stories that touches enter the matter.
But I am still finding it difficult to understand how students now threaten lecturers to pass them.

All road still leads to CULTISM on our campuses .

I will cultism can be among the anti corruption movement going on by PMB where by there will be a law that if any boy, girl, man or woman is caught or identified as a cultist. He or she should be BEHEADED into Lagoon.

NO to Cultism
