Honestly, I will love to see that. Can you say the same to Plateau state to have a Muslim deputy Governor? Anyway let's look at the fact on ground. Having a christian deputy Governor in Borno state, will be very difficult. The Christian population are not much enough to demand the position of deputy in a state withover 80% Muslims. And due the fact that Borno is among the conservative Northern states. Conservatism here represent HFKMN (Hausa/Fulani/Kanuri/ Muslims of the North.I just hope that they will be a day in Nigeria, where religion of an individual will have less influence in our politics. |
