It 's better he takes his time (say 2 years) to appoint those who will deliver in even 1 year than hurriedly appoint those who won't deliver in 3 years.

Let's do away with ministers by amending the Constitution to allow permanent secretary function. Ministers are money grabbers

Fulamafia:
PMB's experience taught him that Ministers are necessary, but not essential, otherwise he would never have made the sacrifice of temporarily governing without them so that the MDA's can be revamped.

Without ministers...

1. Power supply has improved in reality (not audio megawatts) than under the past administration.

2. Terrorists are now fleeing sambisa, compared to last year when our Soldiers were recorded fleeing from terrorists.

3. Our crude oil sales are higher than they were under the past PDP government.

4. NNPC officials now report to their desks at 8am and the EFCC and ICPC have found their teeth.

5. Our solid minerals sector is receiving a $1 Billion investment from China....

......let's stop here before we get addicted to being ministerless

Sai Change!

see ur mouth like our crude oil sales. Why not ground nut oil sales.

i still fail to understand d headache of some ppl on d appointment of ministers. a minister in one ministry is insignificant to d numerious numbers ofbppl working in a ministry where u av Permanent sec, director,Deputy Directors down like dat. i want to believe&sincerely submit at dis juncture dat most of d ppl clamouring&shouting for appointment of ministers ar doing so for der selfish interests. som of dem ar waiting to c who&who will b appointed,so dat dey can lobby for job&contracts. & dose dat der families or close persons ar not appointed or ppl dat dey can get acess to ar not appointed,Mark my word dey will immediately com out publicbto b insulting&rubbishing PMB. God bless all Nairalanders

That's because it has not been developed to be a significant source of revenue, while crude oil has.

A one man show.

PMB is just myopic in nature. Everything can't be centred on one man, even God the supreme being appointed angel, who can act on His behalf..

The devil isn't left out,he has agent who can take decision on his behalf.

So PMB should end the one man show, and apppoint ministers, except he's waiting for Angel to appoint.

Structure is necessary for the functionality of anything,so ministers are needed for proper co-ordiantion on ministry.

Next.

If there is no minister of power and power has improved so much then I don't want a minister of power.

Politicians are getting frustrated and they are trying to orchestrate the press against PMB but it wouldn't work, what do ministers so sef?!
Award contracts, that's all we've got in the past.

I think our president is doing well. Eletricity supply has increased, non funtional refinary is now working. Stolen funds are gradually been traced and some recovered. Original Ministerial is comming forth, please let's be patient with him.

Hmmm......politicians are getting frustrated .

if you read the post thoroughly, you will notice that all those complaining have one thing in common: FUNDS! MONEY!!

So, its all about the MONEY and how Ministers can make it available for stealing!

Work is ongoing, Salaries are being paid and if there is a "Big Expense" to be made, the Perm Sec can directly request from the President.

But woe unto that Perm Sec that will loot the money he "requested directly" from #SaiBaba! grin grin grin

I dont want to be that Perm Sec at all! undecided

Anyway, we know ourselves.

Buhari is not too bothered because he is also one of us
. grin grin grin

Can you please tell us what has been working when we have Ministers and what have not been working now that we don't have? Ignoramus like you failed to realize that Ministerial appointments is like the existence of Non Executive Directors in an organization, the presence of whom have little or nothing to do with the operational activities of the firm but mainly to bring balance to the decisions of Permanent Secretaries who are the real Head of ministries.
