The ousted governor of Ekiti State, Segun Oni (PDP), in a bid to draw support for the state's governorship re-run election on April 25, 2009, is giving away bundles of Naira notes along with recharge cards to residents in Oye-Ekiti in Ekiti State.

He can distributes as much as he likes since its not his hard earned money. It is only in Nigeria that politicians will distributes money 2 win an election when they knew that they will earn more than 200% on money spent. Where is EFCC 2 querry him on these lavish?

the reason why i tend to castigate we nigerians is because of attitudes like this,on one hand we are ranting and raving about the political leadership,and on the other hand we are quick to accept their hand outs, the only positive slant i can put on this is that i hope they collect his rechearge cards and money and still vote their conscience

500 Naira in exchange for their destiny. How can somebody in their right sense sell their mandate for money and then we complain our leaders are stealing money.
