Under the outsource contractors CNSSL and ISON BPO, the Customer Care Reps for MTN in Mayfair Call Centre, Awoyaya, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, are subjected to unfair delay of Salary.

Despite the token they pay as salary in Mayfair -Call Centre, the management has officially stated that payment of salary from hence will be delayed till 15th of the new month.

Which means from now on; the staff will work for 45-days before they take their pay.

All other call centres (Apapa, Ikoyi, VGC) still run the normal shifts and talking hours as usual. But Our own work time has been unjustly increased from 6hrs of talking to 9hrs (day shift). This increase of "talking hours" is only applicable to those in Mayfair Centre, Awoyaya; Ibeju Lekki alone.

We at Mayfair Call Centre are expected to pick calls and speak with 194 customers for the 9hr shift (day-time). And for the night shift speak with 228 customers in the 12hr shift.

Now, they make us WORK MORE for LESS PAY, and the token-Salary is now BEING DELAYED for 45-Days (15-Days into the new month, after the actual 30-Days)

Almost 1,000 CCRs in Mayfair Call Centre for MTN are now groaning under cruel system of the contractors - CNSSL & ISON BPO.
We dare Not talk to the management. If we do, we are going to be sacked and replaced with OND holders out there.

We are still trying to reach Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), EFCC and other National trade unions to keep them abreast of our plight.
