Ivory Coast hosted Malawi today in Abidjan, part of the 2010 World Cup qualifying matches that took place earlier today. Ivory Coast won 5 - 0. A stampede ensued before the game however, resulting in multiple deaths. Some news media reported at least 19 deaths, others say at least 22.
