Abroad, some people maintain a tradition of keeping a bit of their wedding cake for their first anniversary or for the naming of their first child but this Florida couple have taken things a little too far.

Ann and Ken Fredericks have been married for 60 years after they became man and wife in 1955, and according to them, they still keep a part of their wedding cake from their big day.
The dark fruit cake was made by Ann’s grandmother and the aged couple say every once in a while they bring out the cake and take it with a bottle of champagne.
According to the husband, the cake has never spoiled and all it needs is a drop of brandy every so often to keep it moist.
